Fexco, Ireland is a global leader in fintech, payments and business solutions, serving a diverse range of industries across 29 countries. Committed to sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint, Fexco sought a reliable renewable energy partner to help meet its energy needs while aligning with its environmental goals.
Project Scope
Enerpower was tasked with designing, and installing a ground mounted solar farm with a capacity of 188kw to meet a significant portion of Fexco’s energy requirements. The key objectives of the project;
- Design a bespoke solar system tailored to Fexco’s energy consumption needs.
- Ensure optimal system performance and efficiency to maximise energy production and cost savings.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and maintenance support.
- achieve environmental sustainability goals by reducing carbon footprint.
Installation
Enerpower conducted detailed site surveys and assessments to optimise the layout and the direction of the solar panels. 408 solar panels were placed in an east/west orientation with a 10 degree tilt. This was set to maximum sunlight exposure and energy generation.
The Enerpower team collaborated with the utility provider to ensure seamless grid integration and compliance with regulatory standards.
Outcome
The ground mounted solar farm has generated a significant portion of Fexco’s energy requirements, leading to substantial cost savings on electricity bills.
