Recently, Greenvolt Group and Enerpower unveiled their ambitious plans for Ireland’s renewable energy market during a landmark event held at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin on February 8th. 

The event served as a platform for these industry titans to showcase their commitment to driving forward the transition to clean, renewable energy solutions in Ireland and the UK. As part of the event, hosted by Kieran Cuddihy, Jounalist and Presenter, Owen Power, CEO of Enerpower and João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group, outlined their shared vision and strategic initiatives.

With Greenvolt Group recently becoming the major stakeholder in Enerpower this year, the synergy between the two entities has reached a new height. The unveiling of Enerpower’s new identity as Enerpower powered by Greenvolt embodies this union. 

The partnership will commit to the installation of 500MW of renewable energy in the next five years and create 100 new jobs.

At the launch on February 8th, Greenvolt Group’s CEO João Manso Neto outlined his ambition for the new partnership:

Across Europe and the rest of the world, there are huge challenges to meet and a lot of work to do for us to reach net zero. That is why the sustainable energy sector must set out its own ambitious challenges to play a key role in making this happen.

“Enerpower has an ambition that matches our own and this is what attracted us to buy a majority stake in the company. Its existing client base provides us with a strong foundation to take this work forward in Ireland.”
